OUTREACH MANAGER

This year I have been a part of the TEDxUW executive team as an Outreach Manager. I have worked alongside our marketing team to create effective partnerships with University of Waterloo stakeholders, promoted our event on social media, attended community events to expand our network and acted as a point of contact with partners for media-related initiatives.
CHAPTER PRESIDENT

Best Buddies is an organization whose mission is to make schools more inclusive and accepting of people with intellectual disabilities. As Chapter President, I am responsible for the overall leadership of the chapter. My tasks include the administration, delegation of responsibility and recruitment of other executive members and volunteers with the goal of establishing a strong chapter.
FRONT-LINE LEADER

This year I have been a part of the Faculty of Environment's Orientation Week 2016 as a Front-Line Leader. As an Orientation Leader I have been responsible for interacting with students and ensuring that they feel welcome in their transition to university life. I worked with my fellow Orientation Leaders to create a fun and active environment by encouraging first year environment students to participate in orientation activities.
