RESPONSIBILITY

Being responsible is a desirable work approach trait. Responsibility is a good indicator of work ethic and an individual's ability to get quality work completed and in a timely manner. I have exercised responsibility in my academic, extracurricular and professional commitments by taking accountability for the work I am expected to complete. I set goals and deadlines for myself, so that I may perform tasks when anticipated in order to successfully complete a project.

WRITTEN COMMUNICATION

Being able to communicate effectively is an asset in all types of work. Written communication skills are especially important as they are a tool used to connect an audience to information. Through various course and work-related assignments, I have developed the ability to write concisely and effectively. For example, in my Museum Design course, INTEG 320,  I crafted engaging text to provide visitors with a better understanding of my exhibit's information.

DECISION MAKING

Decision making is an important aspect of time management. When working on projects, it is important to be able to select a course of action amongst a set of alternatives. My experience with deadlines in my ARBUS 300 course has helped me develop an awareness of how and when to make decisions. I have used my decision making skills to suggest viable and timely courses of action in face of choice. Decision making requires identifying what you can go given your knowledge and resources.
